Aquafresh presents smoked Jack Mackeral, highly flavoursome and rich in naturally delicious oils and essential fats that absorb the smoky flavours. Mackeral fillets have small, delicate flakes that are perfect for soups, chowders, pate or dips.
Our fish is taken fresh off local boats, prepared then smoked using South Island beech and manuka sawdust for a distinctly kiwi flavour. We then vacuum pack it to seal in its fresh flavour and moistness. 100g Tray pack, ready to serve. Simple remove the protective seal. Prepared, smoked and packed at our Nelson Smokehouse.
